QualiZeal, a US-headquartered quality engineering and AI assurance company, has appointed Sunil Upadrasta as Vice President and India Head for its Global Capability Centre business. In the new role, Upadrasta will lead QualiZeal’s GCC charter, with responsibility for new-client growth, market expansion and engagement with senior enterprise leaders.
He brings more than 23 years of experience spanning sales, business development, delivery, practice leadership, digital transformation and profit-and-loss management. His previous leadership roles include positions at Atos Syntel, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Retail.
Founded in 2021, QualiZeal operates three Global Capability Centres in India. The company says it has built an AI-skilled workforce of more than 1,100 people and serves over 70 global enterprise clients.
The appointment comes as QualiZeal advances its Vision 2028 growth plan. The company aims to become the fastest Indian IT-services business to reach $100 million in annual revenue.
Global Capability Centres have become an important part of India’s technology-services landscape, expanding beyond support functions into product engineering, analytics, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. QualiZeal’s focus on quality engineering and AI assurance positions its GCC business around the need to test and validate increasingly complex enterprise systems.
Upadrasta’s experience across commercial growth, delivery and digital transformation is expected to support the company’s efforts to win new enterprise accounts and deepen its India operations.
